FAQ
Q: What is a typical Faith Dinner like?
We welcome you at the door and ask you to find a seat wherever you would like. At any time you are free to get food, but we recommend getting it at the beginning so you can enjoy the company around the table. You’ll have a chance to get to know your table leader. About 15 minutes in, Pastor Craig will introduce himself and share a bit about our topic for the evening and then you’ll spend the rest of the time enjoying great conversation around the table.
Q: How long does a Faith Dinner last?
We start at 6pm and usually end around 7pm. Our times are flexible so feel free to stick around for a little while longer if you’d like. If you come in late, no problem!
Q: Why are you doing Faith Dinners?
Sometimes church is intimidating. We don’t always know the rules or the pattern of worship and it makes us uneasy. Or we’ve had a bad experience with church in the past, but we still consider ourselves spiritual and want to explore our faith more. For some, they are just curious about what faith means and if it applies to them and Sunday worship isn’t as interactive (or have as much good food). We want to make it easy to talk about faith in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
Q: Is it suitable for children?
Faith Dinners are geared toward adult conversation and adult topics that may be too challenging for children. However, please check with us as we will likely have child care available.
Q: Do I need to bring anything or pay anything?
Nope! We will have everything you need and it is completely free!
